On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Image Access team once again took part in the annual “Schwebebahnlauf” in Wuppertal – a five-kilometer race for corporate teams from the region. The run is named after Wuppertal’s world-famous suspension railway, which has been in operation since 1901 and uniquely travels above streets and the river Wupper – right along the race course.
This year, 13 Image Access colleagues laced up their running shoes and completed the course with great enthusiasm. The fastest runner on our team was André Milde, who finished with an impressive net time of 21:29 minutes, earning a strong position among the 4,425 participants. Timo Rüggeberg (24:47) and Sven Furgal (25:11) also delivered outstanding performances. From personal bests to first-time finishes—every team member contributed to a fantastic group effort and an all-around successful day.
In addition to the 5-kilometer race, the event also featured a 10-kilometer and half marathon run, a 500-meter “Bambini” race for children, and an inline skating competition.
