During the week of September 1–7, 2019, more than 4500 participants attended the ICOM General Conference and exhibition in Kyoto, Japan; a triennial event focused on museum-related topics. Together with our Japanese reseller Universal Business Technologies Corp (UBTC), Image Access presented a number of solutions for the museum community; the large format fine art scanner WideTEK® 36ART, a WideTEK® 25 flatbed scanner with backlight option and a Bookeye® 4 V3 Kiosk book scanner.

Image Access exhibited at ICOM for the first time this year but was impressed with the participants’ interest in the scanners. We will return to the next ICOM in 2022 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
