At the end of May 2024, the WideTEK® 36ART from Image Access was installed at the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico. With the help of our distributor in Puerto Rico, Wide Distributors, and the assistance of our specialist engineer Octavio Navarro, Service and Technical Support Manager for the region, the WideTEK 36ART was introduced as a solution for the university’s preservation project.

According to Rector Dr. Angélica Varela Llavona, “It is the first equipment of its kind to be installed in Puerto Rico, which will allow us to digitize plans from the Architecture and Construction Archive, preserve historical documents, works of art and plans that the archive houses and facilitate access to them. Additionally, it will be a valuable learning tool for our students.”
