On May 15th and 16th 2019, Image Access´ partner for the UK and Ireland, Covergold, exhibited at the 2019 Museums & Heritage Show at Olympia London. Over 2000 museum professionals from the UK and Europe took advantage of the opportunity to experience the WideTEK® 36ART and the new Bookeye® 4 V2 Semiautomatic during the two days of the show. Interest in the WideTEK® 36ART was extremely high, as it always is within the museum and art communities.
The Museums & Heritage Show is the largest exhibition for the museums and cultural sector in the UK and provides not only a museum to museum networking platform but also educational talks and a focus on sales activities in museums in the Retail Zone. A perfect application for the WideTEK® 36ART would be to digitize paintings for sale as custom prints of artwork in the museum shops, on which the texture of each brush stroke is visible using the 3D texture scanning mode.
